Until I listened back to this for this blogpost, I had completely forgotten about the "immortal troll occultists with external memory backup" concept. I really need to get back on that. As always, talking to players brings up a ton of intriguing ideas.

The creatures of the Nameless City are patiently waiting for the time when their selves can reunite and they can reform their living civilization. What exactly that means is ambiguous, deliberately so. It's probably a long way off happening during the timeframe of this campaign, though. On the other hand, who knows what PC intervention might lead to?
