Necropolitans Vignettes: A Snake Betrayed

11th of Erastus, AR 4719 in the contemptible human calendar

Yarzoth would have ground her teeth in frustration; but, lacking molars, that would only have meant lacerating her own gums with the needle-like fangs that lined her mouth. She settled for incinerating a nearby beetle with a gout of arcane fire.

Necropolitans, episode 19: Don't you dare disassemble yourself at me, sir

Anyone who listened to the podcast earlier may be confused to see this post change. This is due to me unearthing several missing recordings that I hadn't even realised were missing (due to doing all the audio editing retrospectively).

Boxed text signals the party's arrival at a significant location. Carvings on a blood theme, a death theme, and a demon theme are either signs of a Temple of Dread Evil or, perhaps, commemorating a particularly impressive metal concert in ancient times. In this campaign, who knows? Find out more, in Episode 019: Don't you dare disassemble yourself at me, sir

Special thanks to Marche Towers Art for the gorgeous Necropolitans commission he did for us, he was a pleasure to work with and I'm delighted with the result.

"The last time that the group of us went to a fiery, reddish mountain, we all kind of died".
"Remember, we can't die if we're already dead."
Common sense abounds, in Episode 018: Look at you, coming here with your good ideas. Idle conversation - and insects - once more come back to bite the PCs and their players as I deploy an abomination calculated to make them despair. It's your own fault, Nathan.

Necropolitans, episode 17: Would you say that she's ghastly?

In this episode, our PCs encounter The Mother. It's basically never good to meet someone with a capitalized everyday sort of name, and this rule holds true today. She's a material ghoul in a material world. Find out more, in Episode 017: Would you say that she's ghastly?

Quick podcasting update

Apologies to anyone disappointed by the lack of podcast episodes. We've just come through the busiest time of year for me at work, and I've simultaneously been moving home. Things are starting to settle down, but I haven't had a great deal of time or energy for editing. Plenty of episodes are stored up though, it's just a matter of getting to them and releasing them.

Anyone craving my dulcet tones (why?) can perhaps get your fix at Whartson Hall, where I've recently finished running Dark Carnival, as well as The Price of Success, a chapter in our new episodic GURPS filler campaign.
