Geometry is bad for wizards, "I've seen worse" is "technically a compliment", and we learn that Becca's Wis-based characters have a Wis of 12, in Episode 036: I look at her intently, staring without eyes.
This one was fun. Some of you may realise I'm stealing this entire city from a Lovecraft story. However, in that it's relatively sane, geometrically speaking. I played with a lot of weird spatial things in this arc, and general alienness, to try and emphasize that these creatures were Very Old and trying to understand them - second-hand, through archaeology - was not going to be easy.
Each of the players had to survive an individual puzzle to reach the inner city. The inhabitants designed some very specific defences against a very specific enemy. I do explain this to them at some point later on...
